The elves arrived with a few candy canes (48, to be exact, I am not sure what the elves were thinking either 😉 ) and a note that told the kids to decorate the tree and house with the elves’ favorite kind of candy!  The note also mentioned to ‘have fun today at Mimi and Bop-bop’s house…’  I guess they really ARE watching and listening to everything we are doing if they knew we were going there today!  Gigi was motivated to figure out that 48 candy canes is enough to have one every night between now and Christmas with the evening hot cocoa and book.  Between the two advent calendars, evening hot cocoa and now the addition of a candy cane it would seem that our kids will need to brush their teeth VERY carefully every night before bed.  Otherwise we’ll be watching for the tooth fairy every night instead of the elves!
